Social Media Tips

There’s A Reason Why It’s Called Social Media

Guys, I’m not the most talkative guy in town. I do most of my talking through my blog posts while I’m at work. And, boy, do I work hard. Just ask my boss. And in spite of my work being very good, thank you very much, it was she who advised me how to get more followers on Instagram. Yes, we’re both using Instagram platforms apart from our regular internal communication channels. We both have a load of responsibilities on our shoulders. My work is primarily the writing. She’ll edit my stuff every now and then.

And after she’s given me the go ahead, I’ll do the publishing work as well. I’m using WordPress, YouTube and Instagram platforms, depending on our mutual client and the subject matter. How about you, what’re you using? Apart from promoting our clients’ work via these channels, my boss, and her boss in turn, are using Facebook, Instagram’s parent, to canvass for new clients. The big cheese says it’s all about location, location and, yes, you got that right, location. Tongue in cheek, I call it wet’s up.

That’s WhatsApp to the rest of you. While you probably all know that it has its great uses and all, I find it to be rather tedious. Here, let me explain why. And while we’re at it, this brings me around to the main subject I wanted to raise with you guys. WhatsApp, in our case, is mostly for personal, as in social and family, use. I use it occasionally to keep in touch with my family. That’s understandable because we all live miles apart and we hardly see each other these days, except around Christmas and Thanksgiving.

And my birthday, of course. We’re also big on the Easter weekend, so we all make an effort to gather round and break bread together. But just this past Easter, I got quite irritated. You see, right at the dinner table, my brothers and their kids were kidding around with WhatsApp. And I nearly fell off of my chair when my seventy-five-year-old dad started tapping around on his smart mobile. He was showing off like a young kid. This was his first ever smartphone, you see. Had to wonder if this is what happens when we start to grow old.

We start acting out like young kids again? Maybe that’s alright because I’m a guy that believes in being young at heart, not always easy to do during our busy work schedules. Speaking of which, I really look forward to decent breaks from my desk during the day. My next ‘lunch’ break is due in, oh, let’s see, the next two, three hours. Can’t wait. I’ll be heading out a few blocks down for just one quick ale. By that time, all the local guys will be around. There’ll be hoots of entertainment. But in this one tight corner, there’s this young guy who forgot to switch off and relax for a while.

Importance Of Being Liked In Social Media Circles

Here is a positive note to help you get out of just going round and round in circles. This may be happening to you on your preferred social media network. There may also be space to make a change. That does not mean that the social media (SM) platform you initially went with is useless, it may just mean that it does not match your personal profile and professional purposes. In any case, most leading SM platforms have it all already.

Take Facebook and Instagram, for instance. Most people’s hands shoot up when they hear or see that word Facebook. It is that famous. By now, most people in the world have been introduced to this leading platform and signed up for it for personal, professional and sociable reasons. Interestingly, the old stalwart YouTube, around for a lot longer than Facebook, hasn’t been utilized as widely.

Furthermore, while many of the tools are quite similar, more people seem to be latching on to Facebook’s baby, Instagram. While this platform is interactive, versatile to use, multi-dimensional, and all the other things that YouTube has been for at least a generation, the big attraction to Instagram may be that it is user-friendly or easy to use. It’s just so easy, even your great granddaddy, if he’s still around, can learn how to use it.

But even so, many of you seem to find that you’re still going around in circles. how to get out of this rut. one quick and easy way to get out of this jam is to just buy your likes on Instagram. And if you’re still using Facebook, even if you’re one of the smart ones using YouTube, you can buy likes for those platforms too. And while you’re busy buying likes, you can also buy comments and followers too. That’s it.

It’s really that easy. And you hardly had to do a thing. So, now that you’re no longer swimming around in circles while the sharks behind you have been nipping closer and closer to your heals, you can now mingle pleasantly in all the right circles, just as those gorgeous dolphins like to do when your boat enters their territorial waters. This is not to undermine the great big white. Where would the animal kingdom be without it.

It is an important part of the entire ecological food chain. And so are you, when you think about it. See, this is what others think of you. See how many people like you. See how many positive comments are being made about the things you’re trying to get right in this troubled world. See how many people are choosing to follow you and not someone or something else. It was that easy. All because you took the plunge to buy them all, the likes, followers and comments too.

Not only is it very important to be liked in social media circles these days, it’s also very easy. Enjoy being Mr. Popular.

Every Social Media User Needs At Least 1 App A Day

An apple a day keeps the doctor away. You must have heard of this old saying by now. But if not, let this blog note introducing new readers to the Instagram likes app (and there are others; an Instagram followers app, for instance), explain. If you are reading this note well enough by now then you are doing well in acclimatizing yourself well to the use of one the world’s (if not, most) widely spoken languages.

This is a curious language, is it not. It is littered with so many metaphors and similes. It is also a show and tell of just so many fables and riddles. Like the one about an apple a day. No one can deny that the apple is one of the most wholesome fruits around. It is a formidable buster against all kinds of diseases and ailments. Find another fruit that has as many vitamins and minerals. Well, maybe the miraculous and very tasty avocado is a likely rival.

And to think that so many people confused this wonder food as a vegetable. It is quite understandable; given that it remains a popular ingredient for mouthwatering salads no matter which culture is yours to be proud of. Yes, even the once-sour old English have adopted this fruit, not vegetable, as their own. So, there you go; an apple a day keeps the doctor away. May as well add in the avocado now too.

Just in case you are still struggling to make ends meet with your new business venture on social media (switch to Instagram if you haven’t already done so, and get an Instagram likes app too while you’re at it) know that these two formidable fruits are great hunger busters too. They keep you from going hungry for hours on end. That way you can stay focused on your work without your tummy (stomach) grumbling.

And while an apple a day keeps the doctor away, at least one app a day or week will keep your business afloat. But do be wary of loading too many apps onto your smart mobile device. This is far too much clutter than you can handle and it’s going to confuse you to bits. Stay focused and prioritize. Only use apps that are essential for your business development. The pizza delivery app is one that has to go.

When last have you used it? You couldn’t afford it, right. You can afford apples and avo’s, of that you can be certain (but there’s no delivery app for these as far as is known). The insta apps are the ones you keep. They are useful tools to help you with the monitoring of your new business. You can keep a clear track of how many new followers have joined your venture. You can see clearly how many people out there approve of what you are trying to achieve.

And of course, you can also use the app to make new purchases when the need arises.
